Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lee Park! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Amazing Yunoz! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yunoz cracks Park with a right hand to the side of the head. Park shoots in but Yunoz avoids the takedown attempt easily. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Yunoz has eaten all the pies! Park wants to clinch up but Yunoz keeps it at a distance. Nice cross by Yunoz. Yunoz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Park fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Yunoz looks to land a left hand but Park moved out of range nicely. Park moves in looking to clinch but Yunoz pushes him off. Yunoz gets caught flat footed, as Park shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Yunoz seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Park postures up in Yunoz's guard and throws a big left but Yunoz blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yunoz keeping full guard, as Park tries to pass. Yunoz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Still in half guard, Yunoz seems content to control. Yunoz looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Park throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Park is looking to escape. Park has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Park trying to control from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Yunoz seems content to control. Park actively working from the bottom here. Park gets full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Yunoz stays in close to Park's body and controls the position. Yunoz trying to control but Park is working from the bottom. Park looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Park can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Yunoz controls the pace. Park is striking but Yunoz is not phased and passes to half guard. Yunoz frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Park tries to hold on but Yunoz postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yunoz trying to control but Park is having none of it. Park manages to regain half guard. Good work. Yunoz blocks the strikes from Park.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Park wants to control but Yunoz is keeping busy.
Park is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Yunoz with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Park is in trouble now - Yunoz has advanced to mount! Yunoz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Amazing Yunoz dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Park shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Yunoz as he avoids it easily. Park shoots in and drives through. Yunoz sprawls well. Yunoz gets a takedown into half guard. Park blocking the ground and pound attempt from Yunoz. Yunoz lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Yunoz performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yunoz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Park does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Park is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Yunoz is looking to take a break and control but Park is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Park misses with a takedown attempt and Yunoz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lee Park. That's going to take a lot out of him. Park fails with a takedown attempt. Yunoz misses with a head kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Yunoz decides to stand up, so the ref orders Park to his feet. Yunoz looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yunoz stays in close to Park's body and controls the position. Park is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Yunoz's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Park keeping moving, preventing Yunoz from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Amazing Yunoz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Yunoz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Yunoz throws a shot from downtown. Park moves away and avoids it. Park ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Park throws a series of punches but Yunoz moves out of range. Park lands with a nice body kick. Park fails in his attempt to clinch. Park has his takedown stuffed and Yunoz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lee Park is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Park shoots in but no luck this time. Amazing Yunoz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yunoz throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Park fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lee Park. That's going to take a lot out of him. Park is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Yunoz.
That's one minute gone in the round. Park throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Yunoz has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Yunoz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Park fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yunoz manages to avoid it. Park pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Yunoz stalks Park and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Park's face. Park staggers backwards, shaken. Yunoz scores with a nice head shot. Yunoz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Park has time to react. Park doesn't manage to clinch there - Yunoz circles away.
Yunoz throws a leg kick that misses. Yunoz stuffs the takedown attempt from Park. Park gets slowly back to his feet. Park connects with a high kick. A left lands for Yunoz. Yunoz fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Park gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Yunoz counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Park avoids a punch combination nicely.
Yunoz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yunoz showed some decent athleticism there. Park blocking the ground and pound attempt from Yunoz. Park is trying to get back to full guard. Yunoz trying to pass the guard but Park defending well. Yunoz performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Park tries to roll over but Yunoz keeps him under control. Still in half guard, Yunoz seems content to control. Park is trying to control but can't.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. The fighters circle momentarily. Yunoz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Yunoz falls off balance throwing a combination
and Park counters with a slapping leg kick. Park needs to keep his hands up - Yunoz had a free shot at his head there. Park with a poor takedown and Yunoz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Yunoz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Park decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Yunoz's guard. Yunoz is pulling down on Park's head. It's preventing any offense from Park, at least for the moment. Yunoz keeping busy, throwing shots from the bottom. Park has gone for a leg lock! Yunoz slips out almost immediately though and dives into Park's guard. Park is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lee Park. Well Yunoz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
