Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keijo Harkimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGregor kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bloc Party - Flux. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Charlie McGregor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keijo Harkimo! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from McGregor. A nice leg kick lands there from Harkimo. Harkimo ducks right into an uppercut from McGregor. Harkimo ducks under a wild hook from McGregor. A telegraphed right hand from McGregor misses the target. McGregor throws a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McGregor wants to land a leg kick but Harkimo is out of range. Jab from Harkimo. McGregor throws a low kick but Harkimo avoids it. Keijo Harkimo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harkimo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McGregor. McGregor looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Harkimo! McGregor throwing strikes but missing, from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sloppy strikes there by McGregor. McGregor postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
McGregor misses with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGregor lands an elbow. Harkimo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McGregor wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McGregor fails to land a wild elbow strike.
McGregor goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Harkimo rolls with the submission and now he's on top in McGregor's guard! Nice work there by Harkimo! McGregor wants to control the position but Harkimo says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. McGregor is controlling Harkimo's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harkimo content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Harkimo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for McGregor! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Harkimo controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGregor wants to control but Harkimo is having none of it. McGregor is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Harkimo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Harkimo looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McGregor wants to hold on but Harkimo pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie McGregor dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Harkimo scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Harkimo connects with a right hand. McGregor shakes it off. Nice defenses there by Harkimo. McGregor shoots in looking for a takedown but Harkimo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McGregor's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Harkimo connects with a good right hand that stumbles McGregor. McGregor circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Harkimo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McGregor drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. McGregor is trying to get an arm triangle but Harkimo is defending well. Harkimo parries the strikes from McGregor easily there. McGregor is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Harkimo to escape.
Harkimo stops McGregor from passing to mount. Harkimo is working to avoid the ground and pound but McGregor connects with a decent elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGregor tries to advance to mount but can't. McGregor in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Harkimo dodges the ground and pound from McGregor. Harkimo managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by McGregor.
Harkimo is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. McGregor cracks Harkimo with a big elbow. An elbow from McGregor crashes against the mat.
McGregor goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Harkimo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for McGregor but great work by Harkimo. McGregor defending against the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harkimo is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Harkimo wants to control but McGregor is keeping him busy.

Keijo Harkimo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Harkimo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McGregor thows a left - swing and a miss! McGregor fails in his attempt to clinch. Harkimo blocks the body kick.
Harkimo blocks a jab. A bone on bone clash there as Harkimo blocks the leg kick.
Harkimo lands with a kick to the temple. McGregor shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Charlie McGregor has been cut. Keijo Harkimo seems to be getting the better of the standup. Harkimo lands with a good body shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A jab from McGregor misses. Harkimo moves out of range of the body kick. Harkimo staying out of range there. Harkimo with a hook.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McGregor slips a jab and a cross from Harkimo.
McGregor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A big right from Harkimo misses. McGregor takes the fight into the clinch. McGregor is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Harkimo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Harkimo fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
McGregor throws a head punch that misses. A short left from Harkimo. Harkimo softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. McGregor misses with a hook to the ribs.
Harkimo is leaning against McGregor and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A short body shot lands from Harkimo as the two fighters clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Harkimo doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Harkimo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McGregor fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Harkimo checks the leg kick nicely there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Keijo Harkimo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Charlie McGregor's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Good exchange - Harkimo coming out on top. Harkimo is looking to chop away at McGregor's legs. Harkimo scores with a sloppy right hand. McGregor should have avoided that one. McGregor misses with a body kick. Harkimo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McGregor was well out of range. Poor timing from Harkimo. Harkimo connects with a nice looking jab.
McGregor is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Harkimo lands an overhand right. Oh McGregor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Harkimo connects with a leg kick. McGregor looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Harkimo sends McGregor crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Harkimo is motioning to the referee to let McGregor up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! McGregor slips a jab from Harkimo. McGregor throws a lazy uppercut
and Harkimo counters with a crisp right that sends McGregor to the canvas! Harkimo follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keijo Harkimo! Keijo Harkimo seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
