Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Devon Bane!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Detyrant fails with the takedown.
Detyrant with a lazy takedown attempt
and Bane counters with a single leg into guard. Detyrant didn't expect that.
Detyrant looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bane is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Detyrant wants to sweep but no luck.
Bane looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bane postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Bane trying to control the position from guard on top but Detyrant is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bane controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Bane is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Detyrant has momentary wrist control but Bane slips an elbow through the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bane is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Bane connects with a couple of short punches.
Bane controlling from the top position.
Bane stopping the sweep attempt from Detyrant.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Detyrant knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bane on the ground.
Detyrant is working hard here to advance position.
Detyrant is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Detyrant keeping moving, preventing Bane from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Devon Bane.
Detyrant has his takedown stuffed
and Bane counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Detyrant. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Detyrant is breathing heavily.
Bane avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bane shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Detyrant's guard.
Bane is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bane wants to control from the top but Detyrant keeps moving.

Bane sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Detyrant's guard.
Bane seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Detyrant is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

After winning the bout, Devon Bane thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
