Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Guy Hennequano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshida Kotaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kotaro has chosen Dance Yourself Clean as his entrance music. Guy Hennequano looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Guy Hennequano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
23 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Yoshida Kotaro!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hennequano has his takedown stuffed
and Kotaro counters with a head kick. That will keep Hennequano thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Kotaro counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guy Hennequano. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hennequano changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kotaro tries to avoid it but Hennequano manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kotaro to the ground. Kotaro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hennequano is breathing heavily.
Kotaro works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hennequano is rocked!
Hennequano takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Oh Hennequano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hennequano misses with a takedown
and Kotaro counters with a crisp right that sends Hennequano to the canvas! Kotaro follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yoshida Kotaro!
