Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Frulani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Olszewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frulani comes to the cage accompanied by In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 by Coheed and Cambria. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Olszewicz! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frulani scores with a takedown into Olszewicz's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Olszewicz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Frulani defends it easily. Frulani scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Frulani has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Frulani won't allow Olszewicz to sweep him here. Olszewicz looking to control.
Frulani postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Olszewicz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Our spies down at at MuscleWorks Amsterdam™ inform us that Olszewicz has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Olszewicz is trying to keep Frulani in close.

Frulani postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Olszewicz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frulani trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Olszewicz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Olszewicz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Frulani is one step ahead there. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Frulani working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Frulani with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Frulani looking for submissions off his back. Olszewicz seems to be working for a kimura but Frulani defends the submission attempt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Olszewicz stalling. Olszewicz is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Frulani can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Frulani is looking to get to half guard. Frulani defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Olszewicz. Olszewicz lands a nice shot to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Olszewicz stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Frulani doesn't manage to clinch there - Olszewicz circles away.
Olszewicz keeps the fight on the outside. Olszewicz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Olszewicz lands in his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frulani tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Olszewicz swivels and escapes. Frulani fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Olszewicz avoids it really well and circles away. Frulani has his takedown stuffed and Olszewicz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felipe Frulani. That's going to take a lot out of him. Frulani shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Olszewicz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Frulani won't be happy with that. Olszewicz trying to control the position but Frulani is working away. Olszewicz moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Frulani wants to get back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Olszewicz scoring with punches and elbows.

Olszewicz tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Olszewicz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Frulani knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Frulani is looking to regain half guard here but Olszewicz keeps moving and retains side control. Olszewicz has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Frulani! Frulani is looking to get to half guard. Olszewicz trying to control but Frulani is having none of it.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Olszewicz tries to free his leg and advance position but Frulani is retaining full guard. Olszewicz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Frulani's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Frulani actively working from the bottom here. Olszewicz blocks the strikes from Frulani.

Frulani is trying to stand up here but Olszewicz is controlling him well. Jan Olszewicz is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Olszewicz has been the more effective fighter overall so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Frulani looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
