Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vernon Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renzo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vernon Cook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Renzo Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cook jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gracie dives in for a single leg takedown but Cook sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Cook digs a right hand underneath Gracie's ribcage. Gracie let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Cook lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Renzo Gracie has been cut.
Gracie lands a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Gracie throws a big elbow that misses.
Cook utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Gracie working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cook swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gracie stands up over Cook, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cook looking for a sweep. Not yet Cook, not yet.
Gracie working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Cook knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie has gone for a leg lock! Cook slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gracie's guard.
Gracie working for a triangle but Cook defends it easily.
Cook is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gracie has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Cook is looking to defend but Gracie has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Cook! Gracie pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Cook taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Renzo Gracie!
An out of breath Renzo Gracie thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
