PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kriss Windman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Heke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Heke's choice of entrance music: Hit Em Up. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heke stuffs the takedown.
Windman is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Heke cracks a nice hook into Windman's ribs.
Windman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Heke as he jumps to the side.

Windman forces Heke back against the cage and clinches.
A frustrated look appears on Heke's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Heke is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Windman struggles to land a body shot inside as Heke controls his hands.
Heke is trying to push Windman away but Windman has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Nice body punch from Windman - that landed with a thud.
Heke working hard to break the clinch.
Windman keeps control of Heke as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Windman has Heke pushed against the cage.

Windman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Heke connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Windman throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Heke scores with a jab. Windman acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Windman darts in looking for a takedown but Heke gets double underhooks and turns Windman into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kriss Windman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Heke tries to break free but Windman pushes him back against the cage.
A shot in the inside from Windman.
A frustrated look appears on Heke's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Heke wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Windman has him pressed against the cage.
Windman is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Heke wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Heke can't break the clinch.

Windman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Heke cracks Windman with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Heke has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Windman to stand back up!

Windman is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Heke lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Windman out cold! Windman is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
