Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ready To Rumble! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Millar! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Millar bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ready To Rumble seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Millar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rumble sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Rumble with a jab. Millar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rumble manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Millar shoots in for a double leg but Rumble sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Rumble scores with the left hand. Millar knows he should have avoided that one. Rumble misses with the combination.
Rumble lands with a good body shot. Millar showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rumble.
Millar clinches up against the cage. Millar looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Millar drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rumble pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ready To Rumble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Millar. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rumble looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Rumble is trying to break the clinch but Millar is controlling him. Rumble tries to throw a body punch but Millar avoids it by throwing Rumble back against the cage. Millar can't get the takedown.

Millar looks to land a combination but Rumble avoids it well. Rumble misses with a jab to the body
and Millar counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Rumble! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Rumble tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Millar presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Rumble tries to hold on but Millar postures up. Rumble is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rumble is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Millar sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Millar lands a couple of good shots and Rumble has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Rumble looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Millar has the hooks in. Rumble is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Millar is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Rumble has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rumble tries to roll but Millar sticks to his back.
Millar is landing with strikes. Rumble can't take much more of this. Rumble wants to escape the position.
Despite being in a bad position, Rumble is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts. Rumble is trying to get back to his feet but Millar has full control of the position and if anything, Rumble has just worked his way into a worse spot. Millar is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Rumble taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Millar.
