Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Post (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevon Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frankie Post! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Trevon Martin! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin punishes Post's body with a nice straight punch. Post throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Martin's head. Post moves out of range as Martin strikes. Post tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Martin paws at him with a jab and circles away. Martin tests Post's chin there with a solid looking shot. Post fails in his attempt to clinch. Post closes the distance but Martin moves to the side and Martin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Post thinking. The fighters circling - Martin throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Martin throws a nice looking combination but Post bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Martin circles away from the clinch attempt and Martin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Post steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Martin. Post wants to clinch. Martin lands a lovely overhand right. Post throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Martin's coach down at Academy of Combat was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Martin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Post tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Post looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. The fight stays on the outside here - Post looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Post wants to clinch and Martin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Post tries to clinch but Martin moves out of range. A head kick misses from Post. The fight moves into the clinch position. Post throws an elbow that misses.

Martin is looking to break free of the clinch but Post has double underhooks. Post lands a nice knee to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Post creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Martin's defenses.

Still in the clinch, Post scores with a nice short uppercut. Martin taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Martin looking to slow down the pace here. Post lands a good knee to the midsection. Martin won't want to take too many of those. Post lands an elbow just above Martin 's eye. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
