The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Montgomery forces Romeiro back against the cage and clinches.
Montgomery wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Romeiro blocks a body shot from Montgomery.
Montgomery wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Romeiro has him pressed against the cage.
Montgomery is trying to stall.
Romeiro has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Montgomery is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Montgomery changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Romeiro fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Romeiro goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Montgomery looks for the body kick but Romeiro saw that one coming.
Romeiro smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Romeiro misses with a wild combination.
Romeiro lands a head kick!
Romeiro lands with a hook. Montgomery tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Romeiro walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Montgomery drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Romeiro swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Montgomery's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
