Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hit Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Berto De Guzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hit Man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Berto De Guzman! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Guzman tries to land a leg kick but Man saw it coming and moves away.
Man circles away from the clinch attempt.
That kick from Man tenderised De Guzman's leg. De Guzman is trying to keep his angry face on. A momentary lapse in concentration from De Guzman enables Man to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. De Guzman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Man stays in close to De Guzman's body and controls the position. De Guzman is trying to control the position but Man postures up. Man throwing strikes from guard but De Guzman blocks nicely. Man trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. De Guzman trying to control the position.
De Guzman tries to land a sweep but no joy. Man trying to control the position from guard on top but De Guzman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. De Guzman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Man paws at him with a jab and circles away. De Guzman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. De Guzman connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Man shoots for a takedown but De Guzman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Man throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around De Guzman's waist but De Guzman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Man off to one side. Man tries to clinch and De Guzman counters by moving into the clinch. Man drops down looking for an ankle pick but De Guzman pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hit Man. That's going to take a lot out of him. Man shoots in for a takedown but De Guzman shows good takedown defense. Man dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on De Guzman. That did some damage! No luck for De Guzman with that takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Guzman clinches up against the cage. Man wants a takedown but no success here.
De Guzman tries to score a body lock takedown but Man shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Man pulls guard successfully.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. De Guzman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Man throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. De Guzman postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Guzman sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. De Guzman is standing up over Man. Man looks to escape but De Guzman dives into side control.
Man tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. De Guzman controlling his opponent. De Guzman avoids the attempt from Man to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Guzman is working for a guillotine from mount but Man frees his head quite easily.
De Guzman controlling from the full mount. Man is looking to improve his position but De Guzman isn't that keen on the idea. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hit Man will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Man fails with a takedown attempt. De Guzman moves in looking to clinch but Man pushes him off. De Guzman fails with the takedown. Man fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. De Guzman sprawls well initially but Man persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Man tries to stand and escape but De Guzman actually recovers to full guard. De Guzman manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
De Guzman throwing strikes here but Man is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. De Guzman looking to ground and pound but Man is blocking nicely. De Guzman controlling from mount. De Guzman sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Man blocking the ground and pound. De Guzman controlling his opponent. De Guzman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Man is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Man is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. De Guzman working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Man slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.
Man looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. De Guzman passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Man!
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Guzman trying to control but Man is having none of it. Man is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Man can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Man tries to lock up and control but De Guzman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Man blocking the ground and pound. De Guzman trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Man is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
De Guzman looking to control and managing it successfully. Man is trying desperately to improve position. Man tries to hold on but De Guzman pushes him away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Man can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Berto De Guzman will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
De Guzman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Man sprawls well. Man wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. De Guzman gets slowly back to his feet. De Guzman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Man counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. De Guzman fails with the takedown. Hit Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Berto De Guzman. Man darts in and clinches De Guzman up against the cage. De Guzman lands a nice elbow from the clinch. De Guzman is trying to pull guard but Man has him pressed against the cage. Man pulls guard effortlessly. Man keeping moving, preventing De Guzman from controlling successfully. Man tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man trying to control the position.
Man avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. De Guzman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Man swivels though and keeps the full guard. Man is trying to control the position from the bottom.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Hit Man. Nice sprawl there from Man as De Guzman shoots in. De Guzman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Man fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but De Guzman avoids it really well and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Guzman shoots for a double leg takedown but Man sprawls well. He's pushed De Guzman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Man drives through and clinches with De Guzman against the cage.

De Guzman has Man pressed against the cage, preventing Man from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Man jumps guard but De Guzman stands there with Man around his waist. Man gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Man with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Man manages to break the clinch.
De Guzman connects with a body shot that sends Man's belly button to the back. Man darts in trying to clinch and De Guzman counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Guzman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Man swings and misses with a hook to the body.
De Guzman is looking to clinch but Man is avoiding it.
Man misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Man throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
De Guzman throws a series of strikes that have Man backpedaling.
De Guzman rushes Man and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Guzman tries to score a body lock takedown but Man shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Man wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but De Guzman has him pressed against the cage. De Guzman is trying to drag Man to the mat but Man just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Man pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Man tries to clinch up but De Guzman circles away and keeps his distance. Man misses with a few strikes there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Man tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but De Guzman defends well and Man ends up having to push De Guzman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. De Guzman tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee is keeping an eye on De Guzman - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
And that's the end of the fight! Hit Man showed his dominance in that final round. Well Man has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
