The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins misses with a body kick.
Hawkins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sanchez throws out the jab.
Hawkins avoids the body shot from Sanchez.
Hawkins gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hawkins lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sanchez circles away quickly and effectively.
Hawkins has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hawkins lands a right hook to the body.
Sanchez scores with a jab to the body.
Sanchez cracks Hawkins with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Sanchez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hawkins manages to avoid it.
Sanchez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A combination from Hawkins does no damage.
Hawkins throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Hawkins goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Sanchez showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hawkins.
Sanchez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sanchez moves out of range of the body kick.

Hawkins scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Sanchez blocks a head kick by Hawkins.
The crowd cheers as Sanchez lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hawkins doesn't seem phased though.
Sanchez ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Sanchez lands a big right hand that sends Hawkins crashing to the mat! Sanchez stays standing though and waves Hawkins back to his feet!

Hawkins is rocked!

Hawkins is still on wobbly legs! Can Sanchez finish him?
Hawkins looks winded!
Sanchez thuds a left hand into Hawkins's body.
Sanchez closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Hawkins! Sanchez dives in looking to finish! Hawkins is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
