Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Gates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Dapalong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Gates has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dapalong scores with a jab.
Gates will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dapalong clobbers Gates with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dapalong throws a jab but it's blocked by Gates.

Gates takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Dapalong looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gates closes the distance and clinches up with Dapalong, looking for a takedown. Gates pushes Dapalong against the cage but Dapalong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dapalong throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gates shoots in looking for a takedown. Dapalong tries to sprawl out of it but Gates keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dapalong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
