Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kuai Liang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liang comes into the arena with So Cold by Breaking Benjamin blaring out of the sound system. Hansen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: AC/DC - Big Gun. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Liang clinches up with Hansen and pushes him back against the cage.
Liang scores with a shoulder strike.
Liang throws a head punch that misses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Liang.
Hansen looking for a takedown.
Liang misses with a punch to the body.
Liang throws a head punch that misses.
Liang tries a body shot but Hansen blocks it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hansen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well, if Hansen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We've been hearing good reports from Liang's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Liang connects with a leg kick. Hansen looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Liang is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hansen is defending well for now.

Hansen has Liang pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hansen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Liang tumbling to the mat - Hansen dives into Liang's guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hansen connects with a nice short shot to Liang's temple.

Hansen is looking to take a break and control but Liang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We're going to have a standup here because Kuai Liang wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
