Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Nanaki Yotomishi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Baptiste Reno! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yotomishi throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Baptiste Reno counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Baptiste Reno slips a jab from Yotomishi. Yotomishi throws a head kick but Baptiste Reno moves out of range.
Yotomishi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Baptiste Reno shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Baptiste Reno stands up from half guard. Yotomishi lands with a kick to the temple. Baptiste Reno shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Yotomishi moves in looking to clinch but Baptiste Reno pushes him off. Yotomishi misses with a looping left. Yotomishi throws a head kick that misses. Nanaki Yotomishi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yotomishi tries to clinch but Baptiste Reno moves out of range. Yotomishi throws a head kick that half lands.

Yotomishi throws a low kick, looking for Baptiste Reno's leg but Baptiste Reno calmly moves out of range. Baptiste Reno fails with the takedown and Yotomishi counters with a head kick. Yotomishi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Baptiste Reno has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Baptiste Reno avoids the head kick by Yotomishi.
Yotomishi pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Yotomishi stuffs the takedown. Baptiste Reno will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nanaki Yotomishi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jean Baptiste Reno. Baptiste Reno takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baptiste Reno on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Yotomishi throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Baptiste Reno shoots in looking for a takedown but Yotomishi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Baptiste Reno's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yotomishi moves into the clinch. Baptiste Reno tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Yotomishi takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Baptiste Reno has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Yotomishi after a bit of a struggle. Yotomishi lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Yotomishi lands a right hand. Yotomishi working some nice short punches in the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yotomishi lands a shot to the body. Baptiste Reno is trying to pull guard but Yotomishi has him pressed against the cage. Baptiste Reno is looking to take this one to the mat. Baptiste Reno fails to pull guard.
Baptiste Reno looks winded! Baptiste Reno letting Yotomishi take a breather here. Yotomishi manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from Yotomishi. Yotomishi throws a head kick that misses. A head kick misses from Yotomishi. Yotomishi throws a sloppy head kick and Baptiste Reno moves out of range easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Yotomishi misses its intended target. Yotomishi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Yotomishi.
Yotomishi fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Baptiste Reno is out of range. Yotomishi thows a left - swing and a miss! Yotomishi cracks the inside of Baptiste Reno's front leg. Yotomishi with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Yotomishi throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Baptiste Reno is rocked! Yotomishi misses with a head kick.
Baptiste Reno is still on wobbly legs! Can Yotomishi finish him? Yotomishi lands a leg kick that knocks Baptiste Reno off balance momentarily. Baptiste Reno fails with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nanaki Yotomishi dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Baptiste Reno seems to have recovered his senses. A jab from Yotomishi does it's job there. Yotomishi missing with a left hand there. Baptiste Reno was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Baptiste Reno ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Baptiste Reno fails with the takedown. Danga de danga de dang - Yotomishi scores with a four punch combination! Yotomishi throws a hook but Baptiste Reno avoids it easily. Baptiste Reno throws a wild hook but Yotomishi just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Baptiste Reno gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Yotomishi raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nanaki Yotomishi!
