The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weidman clinches.

Leveaux wants to take the fight to the mat but Weidman manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Leveaux jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Weidman walks away with a smile on his face. Leveaux gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Weidman gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Leveaux fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Weidman lands a nice knee to the body.

Weidman scores with a knee to the head.
Weidman connects with a nasty looking knee right to Leveaux's face.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Weidman lands a good knee to the midsection. Leveaux won't want to take too many of those.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Weidman tries to break the clinch but Leveaux is controlling the position.
Weidman is looking to control Leveaux's arms but Leveaux gets an underhook and turns him. Now Weidman has his back to the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Weidman throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Ricarde Leveaux has been cut.

Weidman stalks Leveaux and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Leveaux's face. Leveaux staggers backwards, shaken.
Weidman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Leveaux closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Weidman's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Weidman is trying to maintain the position but Leveaux is very close to passing his half guard.

Leveaux in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Weidman tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Leveaux!
