The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Braun looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Von Braun throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Von Braun has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Von Braun prevents Wiechowski from improving his position.
Wiechowski taking some punishment here, with Von Braun in his half guard.
Von Braun looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wiechowski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Wiechowski is rocked!
Von Braun working over Wiechowski with some ground and pound. Wiechowski looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Oh Wiechowski is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wiechowski pushes Von Braun off but Von Braun dives into side control.
Von Braun cracks Wiechowski with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Von Braun immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Wiechowski is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Von Braun!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Emmet Von Braun!
