Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balingit takes a swing at Yu's ribcage but misses.
Balingit thuds his right hand into Yu's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Yu has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Balingit on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jab, jab by Yu - just one landing.
Jack Yu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yu looks for the body kick but Balingit saw that one coming.
Yu throws a right hand that Balingit ducks under and follows up with a left that Balingit also avoids with ease.
Balingit gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Yu.

Yu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Balingit was well out of range. Poor timing from Yu.
Yu moves out of range of the strikes.
Balingit ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yu moves away.
Yu lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Balingit misses with a body shot.
Balingit misses with a hook. Yu ducked under it nicely.
Yu feints a jab promting Balingit to slip. Yu then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Balingit slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Balingit lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Balingit slips a jab from Yu.
Yu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Yu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Balingit scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Yu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Balingit manages to avoid it.
Balingit tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yu swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Yu throws a combination. Balingit tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Balingit ducks under a wild hook from Yu.
Some wild striking there from Yu.
Balingit just misses with a punch to the body.
Balingit dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Balingit uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yu.
Yu misses with a straight left.
Yu walks into a left hand.
The fight stays on the outside here - Balingit looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Yu lands a glancing blow to the side of Balingit's head.

Balingit takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

and Balingit moves into the clinch.

It looks like Jack Yu has been cut.
Balingit tries to throw a body punch but Yu avoids it by throwing Balingit back against the cage.
Balingit lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Yu or not.
Balingit using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Yu has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Yu comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Ej Balingit has been cut.
Our sources have told us that Balingit has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Yu takes a shot to the head.
Yu is trying to break the clinch but Balingit has him pressed against the cage.
Balingit misses with a knee strike.
Yu makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Balingit putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Yu in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
A right hook to the body lands for Balingit.
Yu looks winded!
Balingit lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Balingit scores a nice knee to the body.
Yu takes a shot to the head.
Balingit works on Yu's body with a couple of short punches.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Balingit.
Balingit lands a body shot in the clinch.
Balingit lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Yu backwards.
Balingit connects with a knee to the head.

Yu is rocked!
Balingit throws a big uppercut that drops Yu! More strikes from Balingit and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Yu lies dazed against the cage as Balingit celebrates with his cornermen!
