Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichabod Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Crane's choice of entrance music: Broken Bones - Decapitated. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andy Yang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ichabod Crane! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yang looks to clinch and Crane counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Yang's guard now. Crane in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Crane stops Yang from standing up. Crane pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yang is keeping the position for now. Crane throwing strikes from guard but Yang blocks nicely. Yang preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Yang knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crane on the ground. Crane trying to control the position from guard on top but Yang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Crane throws a strike but Yang rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. We've been hearing that Yang has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crane lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Yang! Crane has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Main Event Gym . Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Crane throwing strikes here but Yang is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Crane with the ground and pound from mount. Yang on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yang tries to get out of the position. Crane lands a big shot there that rocks Yang but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Yang in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Crane thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Crane in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Yang wants to control but Crane is having none of it. Crane throws a sloppy strike and Yang uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Yang has ended up in Crane's guard.
Crane looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yang is one step ahead there. Yang trying to stand up but can't free himself from Crane's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Crane pulls Yang in close to his closed guard and prevents Yang from doing any damage or advancing position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Andy Yang just wasn't active enough. Yang shoots in and bounces Crane off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ichabod Crane dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A left lands for Yang. Yang misses with the combination.
Yang throws a right and a left that Crane avoids nicely. Crane slips a jab and a cross from Yang.
Yang cracks Crane with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Crane gets caught napping as Yang dives in and scores a takedown. Crane manages to retain guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Crane manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Yang manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Crane postures up and lands a big shot to Yang's brow. Crane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Crane throws a strike but Yang rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Crane manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Crane trying to control but Yang is having none of it. Yang tries to reverse the position but Crane maintains control. Crane thowing shots but they're missing. Crane looking to finish with strikes here!

Crane working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Yang slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.
This has been an exciting period of action! Crane not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Yang keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Nice strikes from Crane there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crane not landing any meaningful shots this time. Crane thows a huge punch but Yang dodges it nicely.
Crane is keen to just control but Yang is a slippery customer. Yang tries to kick Crane off but Crane keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Crane thows a huge punch but Yang dodges it nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Crane looks to score some points with some ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crane is looking for a kimura here.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Crane lands a nice short elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ichabod Crane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Yang's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Yang shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yang showed some decent athleticism there. Crane is looking to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Crane regains full guard. Nicely done. Yang won't allow Crane to sweep him here. Crane striking off his back but it's not causing Yang any problems. Yang stopping the sweep attempt from Crane. Yang has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Yang slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

We're going to have a standup here because Andy Yang wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Crane looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Yang! Andy Yang has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Crane throws an elbow but Yang slips to the side and avoids it well. Crane lands a nice forearm strike. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Yang is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Crane cracks Yang with a big elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crane trying to control the position but Yang is working away. Crane working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Crane is putting a hurting on Yang here, landing some big shots from side control. Crane throws a strike aimed at the side of Yang's head but Yang avoids it well. You can see the frustration on Yang's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crane landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Yang bucks up and tries to throw Crane off but instead Crane has got his back! Crane patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Yang prevents Crane from getting a body triangle. Crane has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Yang. Crane missing with punches from the back. Crane is landing with strikes from the back. Both fighters are breathing heavily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Yang covering up well under a series of strikes from Crane. Ichabod Crane is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Crane is not going to allow Yang to sit and survive in this position.
And that's the end of the fight! Ichabod Crane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Crane winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Ichabod Crane! After the fight, Ichabod Crane was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
