Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clark Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kent has chosen John Williams- Superman March as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jeremy Pettis! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Clark Kent! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kent fails with the takedown and Pettis counters with a stiff right hand. Kent fails with a takedown attempt. Pettis tests Kent's chin there with a solid looking shot. Pettis misses with a looping right. Kent looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Pettis kicks Kent off and gets back to his feet. Kent shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pettis defends it nicely. Jeremy Pettis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clark Kent. That's one minute gone in the round. Pettis misses with an uppercut. Pettis sizes up Kent with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Kent gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Pettis counter with a right hand. Pettis is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Clark Kent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab from Pettis. Kent takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Kent shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pettis defends it nicely. Pettis is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Pettis scores with a decent looking hook. Kent takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Kent is trying to control the action in half guard but Pettis is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Pettis is trying to stand up here but Kent is controlling him well. Kent lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Pettis tries to kick Kent off but Kent keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kent seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pettis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kent stops Pettis from getting back to his feet.
Kent winds up and cracks Pettis with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Kent working Pettis over with strikes. Pettis keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Pettis looks like he's trying to stand up.

Kent slips a nice elbow through Pettis's hands, connecting with Pettis's forehead. Pettis is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kent scores with a couple of nice shots. Kent prevents Pettis from standing back up.

Pettis is rocked! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kent scores with a big shot! Pettis's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Pettis! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
