Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ralfson Calvacante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakob Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Calvacante might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Go to sleep bitch. Thomas has chosen Linkin Park - Hit the Floor as his entrance music. Ralfson Calvacante has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ralfson Calvacante! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jakob Thomas! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calvacante shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thomas as he avoids it easily. Calvacante shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thomas pinned against the cage. Thomas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Calvacante darts in looking for a takedown but Thomas gets double underhooks and turns Calvacante into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ralfson Calvacante. That's going to take a lot out of him. Calvacante drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Thomas is pressed up against the cage. Calvacante has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Thomas down to the mat. Thomas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. A shot to the liver by Thomas. Beautiful body shot. Calvacante shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Calvacante looking to score a takedown here. Thomas is defending well but Calvacante drives through and ends up in Thomas's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Calvacante passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thomas is trying to stand up here but Calvacante is controlling him well. Thomas manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Calvacante keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Calvacante's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Thomas misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Calvacante.

Calvacante has Thomas pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Calvacante pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Thomas tumbling to the mat - Calvacante dives into Thomas's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Calvacante is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Thomas is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Thomas has escaped and now he's on top! Thomas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Thomas stopping the sweep attempt from Calvacante. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Thomas tries to stand but Calvacante is controlling from the bottom. Calvacante is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Thomas is aware though and is defending well.

Calvacante working for a submission but Thomas is keeping him at bay. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Thomas avoids a series of strikes thrown by Calvacante.

Calvacante slips under a jab. Thomas pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Thomas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Thomas misses with a looping right. Calvacante ducks under a wild hook from Thomas. Thomas throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Calvacante tries for a takedown but Thomas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Calvacante goes for a double leg but Thomas avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Thomas continues to drive forward. Thomas smiles and moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calvacante takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Thomas cracks a nice hook into Calvacante's ribs. Thomas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Calvacante. Thomas lands a head shot. Calvacante dives in and grabs Thomas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thomas pushes down on Calvacante's head and hops out. Calvacante shoots in looking for a takedown but Thomas manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Calvacante's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Calvacante cracks Thomas with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Thomas dives in and grabs Calvacante's left leg, looking for a takedown. Calvacante pushes down on Thomas's head and hops out. Nice uppercut lands for Thomas. That snapped Calvacante's head back.

Calvacante shoots in but Thomas avoids the takedown attempt easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Thomas stuffs the takedown. Calvacante with a lazy takedown attempt and Thomas counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Calvacante shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Calvacante takes a body punch but keeps moving. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Calvacante looks for a takedown but Thomas sprawls well. Thomas throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Thomas with a jab.

Calvacante misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thomas checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Thomas stuns Calvacante with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Calvacante on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Thomas stuffs the takedown attempt from Calvacante. Calvacante gets slowly back to his feet. Thomas's jab looks to have found its range, popping Calvacante under the eye. Thomas connects with a crisp jab. A shot to the liver by Thomas. Beautiful body shot.

Thomas lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Calvacante shoots in but Thomas avoids the takedown attempt easily. Calvacante takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Thomas tests Calvacante's chin there with a solid looking shot. Good standup being displayed there by Thomas as he connects with a hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Thomas lands a lovely overhand right. Thomas sizes up Calvacante with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jakob Thomas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Thomas scores with a sloppy right hand. Calvacante should have avoided that one.
Calvacante is rocked! Thomas cracks Calvacante with a hook to the temple - Calvacante is on wobbly legs here! Thomas swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Calvacante falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Thomas wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jakob Thomas! After the fight, Jakob Thomas was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
