Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Surfer Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dude has chosen The Trashmen - Surfin' Bird as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodney Blake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Surfer Dude!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dude has Blake up against the cage in a clinch.
Dude is looking to control Blake's arms but Blake gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dude has his back to the cage.
A short right from Blake on the inside.
Dude tries to throw a body punch but Blake avoids it by throwing Dude back against the cage.
Dude will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Blake up against the cage.
Blake fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Blake avoiding damage as Dude throws knees to the body.
Dude blocks an uppercut.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Blake.
Dude throws a punch but it's blocked by Blake.
A short uppercut from Blake.
Blake has a couple of punches blocked by Dude.
Dude can't find room to land a body shot as Blake controls the action.

Blake pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dude throws a lazy right hand but Blake sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dude swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dude has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dude there as he acknowledges the shot.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Blake lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dude has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dude and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Dude fails to land the takedown.
Dude misses with a hook. Blake ducked under it nicely.
Blake definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Blake misses with a straight left.
Dude swings for the body but Blake moves out of range.
Blake missing with a left hand there. Dude was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dude defending well as Blake loads up on a big left hand.
Dude's jab looks to have found its range, popping Blake under the eye.
Blake lands a right hook to the body.
Rodney Blake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dude missing with a left hand there. Blake was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Blake takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Blake thuds his shin into the meat of Dude's side.
A telegraphed right hand from Dude misses the target.
Dude avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dude fails to land the takedown.
Dude throws a jab when Blake was well out of range.
Blake wants to clinch.
Blake tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Dude is able to avoid easily.
Blake uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dude.
Dude lands a jab to the head.
Blake tests Dude's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A jab lands there for Blake.

Blake lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jab, jab by Blake - just one landing.
Dude thows a leg kick but Blake checks it
and Blake connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Blake throws a predictable looking body shot
and Dude counters with a left to the body.
Dude takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Blake swings for the body but Dude moves out of range.
Dude tries a head kick but it misses.
Dude's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Dude duly obliges.
Blake throws a nice inside leg kick.
Blake tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dude lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Dude looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blake punishes Dude's body with a nice straight punch.
Blake misses with a hook to the body
and Dude counters with a nice uppercut.
Rodney Blake is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Blake throws a poor cross that misses
and Dude counters with a good low kick that Blake was not able to check.
Blake lands a leg kick that knocks Dude off balance momentarily.
Blake lands a lovely overhand right.
Blake throws a shot to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dude is defended easily by Blake.
Rodney Blake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Surfer Dude.
Blake scores with a nice head shot.
Dude throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dude fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blake manages to avoid it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Blake smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Blake attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Blake tries to move into range but Dude moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Blake wants to clinch up but Dude keeps it at a distance.
Blake walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Blake is rocked!
Dude seems to be stalking Blake here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Blake drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
