Collins kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Never Give Up. Ross comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Superbeast kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Donovan Collins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Ross!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross misses the shot to the body.
Collins doesn't manage to clinch there - Ross circles away.
Collins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ross moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ross misses with a right hand
letting Collins counter with a right hand.
A jab lands there for Ross.
Ross blocks a head kick by Collins.
Ross wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ross jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ross moves in looking to clinch but Collins pushes him off.
Collins drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Ross thows a body shot but no joy.
Ross misses with a looping right.
Ross misses with an uppercut.
Ross's coach down at Team Listerman was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ross's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Collins misses with a hook
enabling Ross to counter with a crisp jab.
A big right from Ross misses.
Ross throws a big shot that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Collins misses with a straight right.
Ross lands a right hook to the body.
Ross thows a body shot but no joy.
Collins takes one on the chin but keeps coming.


Collins is rocked!

Ross closes the distance and clinches.
Oh Collins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A frustrated look appears on Collins's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Ross dips a shoulder and cracks Collins with a mighty uppercut! Collins falls back against the cage and Ross unloads with a barrage of strikes! Collins is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Ross screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Ross!
A less than humble Dan Ross misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
