Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Swanson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Krush!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson moves into range and connects with a jab.


It looks like Alexander Krush has been cut.
Swanson stuns Krush with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Swanson misses with a low kick.
Krush fails in his attempt to clinch.
Swanson throws a body punch but Krush moves out of range.
Swanson scores with a shot to the body.
Krush pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Swanson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Krush counters with a big head kick but Swanson shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Krush throws a sloppy head kick and Swanson moves out of range easily.
Swanson throws the left hand but Krush avoids the punch easily.
Swanson tries a low kick but Krush avoids it.
Swanson lands with a nice body punch.

Swanson gets a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Krush takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Swanson tries to stall but Krush uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
The referee calls for Swanson to work.
Swanson lands an uppercut.
Krush lands a nice elbow.
Krush blocks an uppercut.
A head punch on the inside from Swanson fails to land.
Swanson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Still in the clinch, Swanson scores with a nice short uppercut.
Swanson misses with a short punch on the inside.
Swanson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Krushs head.
Swanson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Krush's efforts to push away.
Swanson dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Krush wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Swanson has him pressed against the cage.
Krush misses with a punch to the body.
Swanson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Krush backwards.
Krush is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Krush wants to get back to striking at distance but Swanson won't allow it.
Krush wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
I was talking to Swanson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Krush trying to stall but Swanson improves his position.
Still in the clinch, Swanson scores with a nice short uppercut.
Swanson avoiding damage.

Krush's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Swanson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Swanson connects with a solid leg kick.
Krush gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Swanson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Krush swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Swanson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Krush moves away.

Swanson clinches with his opponent.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Swanson.

Krush escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dan Swanson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Swanson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Swanson is looking to clinch but Krush is avoiding it.
Swanson throws a leg kick that is checked
and Krush counters with a thumping low kick.

Swanson rushes Krush and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Swanson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Krush is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Swanson is defending well for now.
Swanson keeps control of Krush as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Swanson throws a head punch that misses.
Krush's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Swanson lands with a short shot to the head.

Krush breaks from the clinch.

Krush closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Swanson lands an uppercut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Swanson scores with a nice hook to the head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Alexander Krush's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Krush uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Swanson.
Krush throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Swanson catches Krush with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Swanson drops Krush with a naaaaasty hook - Krush is in real trouble here! Swanson dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Swanson!
