Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Sisk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and For Win (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Win has chosen Miles Davis - Freddie freeloader as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Sisk! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, For Win! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sisk throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Win. Sisk misses with an uppercut. Win saw that one coming. Sisk keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Win misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Win shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Win looking to control but Sisk is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sisk is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Sisk is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Win throwing strikes here but Sisk is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Win wants to control the pace but Sisk is squirming around nicely. Win might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sisk kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Despite being in the dominant position, For Win just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A head kick misses from Sisk. Win looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Win looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Sisk wants to get back to his feet. Win wants to pass the guard but Sisk is defending well. Win prevents Sisk from standing back up.
Win is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sisk doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Win.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Win is tying to control. Sisk wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Win stops Sisk from getting back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Nice straight punches there by Sisk. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sisk. Win circles away from the clinch attempt.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Win shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sisk as he avoids it easily. Sisk lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Sisk misses with a head kick.

That was a close round but I would say that John Sisk will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Win shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sisk as he jumps to the side. Win keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sisk throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Win circles away from the clinch attempt.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sisk throws a good cross that connects.

John Sisk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Win shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sisk but Sisk pushes him off and we're back to square one. Win shoots in for a double leg but Sisk sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. John Sisk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of For Win. Win fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Sisk swings away with a leg kick that misses. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sisk.
Sisk throws a jab when Win was well out of range. Sisk tries a head kick but it misses.
Win closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sisk to the mat! Sisk manages to get full guard. Win stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sisk swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sisk wants to stand but Win is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Win trying to control the position from guard on top but Sisk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Win looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Win has gone for a leg lock! Sisk slips out almost immediately though and dives into Win's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Win working a defensive guard here.
Win escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sisk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Win has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sisk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sisk has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sisk decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Win, up you get! Win dodges the punch combination from Sisk.
Win uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sisk.

Win is working for an americana but Sisk has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Win was thinking about the submission. Win takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Win is looking to pass Sisk's guard but actually Sisk recovers to full guard. Win trying to control the position from guard on top but Sisk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Win looking to sit in guard and control but Sisk gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Win has his foot on Sisk's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sisk works his way back into a safe position though. Sisk avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Win trying to control but he's not successful this time. Win moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Sisk has worked his arm free - good work by Sisk!

For Win really dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Win will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sisk throws a series of punches but Win moves out of range. Win fails with the takedown. Sisk scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Win moves out of range as Sisk strikes. Win checks a low kick from Sisk. Sisk misses with the combination.
