Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanton Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luther Doherty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowe comes to the cage accompanied by The Builders & The Butchers - Bringing Home The Rain. Doherty comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Evil Boy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luther Doherty!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doherty tries to clinch but Crowe is having none of it.
Crowe circles away from the clinch attempt
and Crowe counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Doherty blocking the ground and pound attempt from Crowe.
Crowe throws a strike but Doherty avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Crowe with a nice head shot there.
Doherty is pulling down on Crowe's head to control his posture.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crowe throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Doherty works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Doherty working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Crowe.
Crowe trying to control but Doherty is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Doherty pulls Crowe in close to his closed guard and prevents Crowe from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Luther Doherty.
Doherty moves out of range of the body kick.
Crowe cracks Doherty with an open hand slap.
It looks like Luther Doherty has been cut.
A jab from Crowe finds it's way through Doherty's defenses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crowe on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Stanton Crowe has been cut.
Crowe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Crowe steps into range and cracks Doherty with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Doherty flops backwards and Crowe dives into his guard looking to finish!
Doherty is rocked!
Crowe gets to his feet and stands over Doherty, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Doherty felt that one! Crowe unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Doherty from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stanton Crowe!
As Stanton Crowe got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Yeah! Suck it, Steel Penn!'.
