Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ortiz Little! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Pikachoo! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Little pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pikachoo back to the cage. Little follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. A leg kick checked by Little. Little throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Little lands with a nice body punch. Pikachoo tries to clinch up. Pikachoo staying out of range there. Pikachoo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Little but Little pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pikachoo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Little finds it's way round the side to connect with Pikachoo's head. Little misses with a few strikes there.
Pikachoo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pikachoo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Pikachoo is rocked! Pikachoo drives through with a takedown into Little's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Pikachoo is still in real trouble! Can Little finish him? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Little working a defensive guard here.
Pikachoo seems to have recovered his senses. Little wants to get back to his feet but Pikachoo passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pikachoo with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Pikachoo is looking for a kimura but Little is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pikachoo to get the leverage. Pikachoo is trying to work for a kimura but Little is defending well.
Pikachoo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Little has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pikachoo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pikachoo trying to control the action but Little is working from the bottom. Little has his hands clasped together around Pikachoo's back. He's all about the action. Pikachoo is keen to just control but Little is a slippery customer. Pikachoo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Little blocking the ground and pound attempt from Pikachoo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pikachoo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Little sees it coming and defends easily. Pikachoo seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Little is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
