Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pika Chu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klaus Knomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chu comes into the arena with Gotta Catch Em All blaring out of the sound system. Pika Chu has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pika Chu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Klaus Knomi!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chu slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Knomi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Knomi scores with a jab.
Knomi misses the shot to the body.
Chu ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Knomi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chu connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Knomi scrambles back to his feet.
A punch combination from Chu misses.
Knomi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chu throws out the jab.
Chu misses with an uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Knomi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chu avoids a punch combination nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Chu. Knomi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Chu throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Chu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Chu misses with a body shot.
Knomi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chu throws a jab but it's blocked by Knomi.
Chu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Chu walks into a jab.
Oooooh!!! Chu has knocked Knomi down with a huge combo! Chu steps away and waves a wobbly Knomi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Knomi is rocked!
It looks like Klaus Knomi has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chu connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Knomi out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pika Chu!
Pika Chu decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
