The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akins goes for a double leg but Reeves avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Reeves continues to drive forward.
Akins is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Reeves to keep the fight standing.
Reeves with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Reeves stalling.
Akins takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Michael Akins has been cut.
Akins is trying to stall.
Akins letting Reeves take a breather here.

Akins could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Reeves.

Reeves drops Akins with a big knee straight up the middle! Akins is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Reeves feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Akins's calf.
Reeves throws a quick head kick that knocks Akins silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Reeves is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

A less than humble Ryan Reeves misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
