Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adelard Desormeaux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Summers!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Desormeaux.
Summers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Desormeaux.
Desormeaux lands a nice shot that snaps Summers's head back.
Desormeaux looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Desormeaux throws a sloppy head kick and Summers moves out of range easily.
Summers avoids a kick to the body.
Desormeaux avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Summers blocks a head kick by Desormeaux.
Desormeaux slips a jab from Summers.
Summers tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Desormeaux misses with a head kick.
Summers cracks Desormeaux with a right hand to the side of the head.
Desormeaux tries to close the distance and clinch up but Summers swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Desormeaux shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Summers throws a combination. Desormeaux tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Summers jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Desormeaux looks to throw a body kick
and Summers counters with a straight right hand.
Summers throws an overhand right that lands on Desormeaux's shoulder, as Desormeaux tries to avoid the shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Summers throws out a loose jab but Desormeaux uses good head movement to avoid it.
Desormeaux ducks under a wild hook from Summers.
A telegraphed right hand from Summers misses the target.
Summers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Desormeaux.
Desormeaux misses with a double jab
and Desormeaux takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Summers misses with a looping left.
Desormeaux tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Summers was well out of range. Poor timing from Desormeaux.
Summers might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Desormeaux fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Summers.
Summers misses with a looping right.
Desormeaux throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Summers has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Desormeaux finds it's way round the side to connect with Summers's head.
A thudding body kick lands there by Desormeaux!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Summers throws a shot from downtown. Desormeaux moves away and avoids it.
Desormeaux ducks right into an uppercut from Summers.
Adelard Desormeaux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Summers blocks a head kick by Desormeaux.
Summers throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Desormeaux sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Desormeaux cracks Summers with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Summers staying out of range there.
Desormeaux tries a head kick but it misses.
Summers throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Desormeaux counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Desormeaux looks at the referee who does nothing so Desormeaux lands a crushing right that sends Summers to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adelard Desormeaux!
Adelard Desormeaux decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
The defeated Nathan Summers had this to say: 'Cmon niggas, you know I'm better.'.
