Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darwin France (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murat Orgun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). France comes to the cage accompanied by bring me to life. On his way into the cage it seems that Darwin France has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Darwin France seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darwin France!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Murat Orgun!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orgun defending well as France loads up on a big left hand.
Orgun misses with a wild combination.
France looks to score with a jab to the body but Orgun is just out of range.

Orgun throws a right hand that misses

and France counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by France.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

France looking to sit in guard and control but Orgun gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Orgun accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

France working for a triangle but Orgun defends it easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

France jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Orgun is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Orgun and France has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
France will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Orgun is looking to regain half guard here but France keeps moving and retains side control.

France tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
France is looking to take a break and control but Orgun is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

France throws a lazy right hand but Orgun sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Orgun throws a body punch but France moves out of range.
France throws a head kick that misses.
France throws an overhand right that lands on Orgun's shoulder, as Orgun tries to avoid the shot.
Orgun misses with a body shot.
Orgun walks into a stiff left hand from France.
Orgun wants to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from France. Orgun does a little dance to reset his feet.
France has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


It looks like Darwin France has been cut.
France staying out of range there.

France fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Orgun sprawls well initially but France persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Orgun manages to get to full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

France got a little sloppy there for a moment and Orgun has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, France has managed to get both his arms back between Orgun's legs - danger averted.
France throws a big elbow that misses.

France has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Orgun can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

France really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
France lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Orgun!

France drops back, looking for a kneebar! Orgun looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Orgun looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Orgun!

A close second round but Murat Orgun will probably get the nod - 10:9.

That's time! France's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


France uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Orgun.

Murat Orgun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
France shoots for a takedown but Orgun saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Orgun is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by France.
Orgun feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Frances jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Oh France is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Darwin France.
