Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brij Khali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timur Uzbaijzky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timur Uzbaijzky will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 42 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Brij Khali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Timur Uzbaijzky!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khali moves in looking to clinch but Uzbaijzky pushes him off.

Uzbaijzky gets tackled into the ropes by Khali. Khali maintains the clinch.

Uzbaijzky is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Khali can't fight it off and eventually Uzbaijzky manages to take the fight to the floor. Khali looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Khali throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Uzbaijzky wants to get up but he can't break Khali's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Uzbaijzky is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
