Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Polly Italiano I I (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dejan Milivojevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dejan Milivojevic! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Italiano I I changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Milivojevic looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Italiano I I looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Milivojevic wants to control but Italiano I I postures up. Italiano I I throws an elbow but Milivojevic slips to the side and avoids it well. Milivojevic manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Milivojevic moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Milivojevic looking to control.
We've been hearing that Italiano I I has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Milivojevic might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Italiano I I haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Italiano I I loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Milivojevic is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Italiano I I is aware though and is defending well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Milivojevic preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Milivojevic closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Italiano I I avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Milivojevic.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Italiano I I won't allow Milivojevic to pass to mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Milivojevic wants to stand up but Italiano I I has a hold of him and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Milivojevic will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

And that's the end of the fight! Dejan Milivojevic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Milivojevic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
