The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozato misses with the combination.
Kozato swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kozato looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kozato's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kozato duly obliges.

Smith drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kozato wants to stand but Smith is controlling the position.
Smith makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Smith drops back looking for a leg! Kozato is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kozato manages to kick Smith off! Smith jumps back into Kozato's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith pushing down on Kozato's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Smith thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kozato's head.
Smith looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kozato with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Smith is trying for a kimura here. Kozato looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Smith wins by kimura!
