Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perry Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Girevoy Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cox comes to the cage accompanied by Solitaire Unraveling. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Girevoy Khan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Khan lands in his opponent's guard.
Khan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Cox preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Khan wants to control from the top but Cox keeps moving.
Cox not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Khan trying to control the position from guard on top but Cox is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cox has momentary wrist control but Khan slips an elbow through the middle.
Khan trying to control but Cox is working from the bottom.

Khan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cox swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Khan scoring with some ground and pound.
Cox pulls Khan in close to his closed guard and prevents Khan from doing any damage or advancing position.
Khan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Cox tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Khan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Khan is posturing up here but Cox has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Khan tries to roll out but it's too tight and Khan has to tap! Slick submission there by Cox!
