Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gunner State Jr.! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leonel Lutsky! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lutsky keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from State Jr.. Lutsky throws a jab when State Jr. was well out of range. State Jr. shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lutsky pinned against the cage. Lutsky gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. State Jr. tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lutsky swivels and escapes. State Jr. shoots in looking for a takedown. Lutsky tries to sprawl out of it but State Jr. keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lutsky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gunner State Jr.. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lutsky misses with a looping right. State Jr. takes a kick to the side of the head. That kick from Lutsky tenderised State Jr.'s leg. State Jr. is trying to keep his angry face on. Lutsky throws a sloppy head kick and State Jr. moves out of range easily. State Jr. swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lutsky slaps away a takedown attempt from State Jr., before circling back to the center of the mat. Lutsky lands a jab to the head.
A head kick misses from Lutsky. Lutsky digs a good body shot into State Jr.'s ribs. Lutsky moves out of range as State Jr. strikes. Lutsky connects with a single shot there. State Jr. fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lutsky is out of range. State Jr. throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lutsky's waist but Lutsky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing State Jr. off to one side. Lutsky scores with a jab. State Jr. acknowledges it with a nod of the head. State Jr. fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! State Jr. misses with a takedown attempt - Lutsky sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. State Jr. takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. State Jr. shoots in looking for a takedown. Lutsky tries to sprawl out of it but State Jr. keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lutsky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. State Jr. has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Kick In The Nutz Gym (14 Elite Coaches, Low Cap) in the buildup to the fight. State Jr. takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lutsky moves away from the strike by State Jr.. Lutsky jabbing away but nothing is landing. State Jr. throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lutsky. Leonel Lutsky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. State Jr. blocks a head kick by Lutsky.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Lutsky as he connects with a hook. Lutsky throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
No luck with that takedown attempt from State Jr.. State Jr. fails with the takedown. Lutsky fails in his attempt to clinch. State Jr. tries for a takedown but Lutsky sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. State Jr. throws a series of punches but Lutsky moves out of range. Lutsky throws a nice head kick!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lutsky scores with a jab to the jaw.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lutsky takes a jab right on the kisser.
Good leg kick by Lutsky there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lutsky goes for a high kick. It partially lands. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for State Jr.. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. State Jr. ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from State Jr.. State Jr.'s hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lutsky connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! State Jr. scrambles back to his feet. Lutsky looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. State Jr. throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lutsky avoids a punch combination nicely.
State Jr. on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lutsky. Lutsky obviously looking to wear him down.

Lutsky throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
State Jr. lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lutsky circles away quickly and effectively. State Jr. checks a low kick from Lutsky. State Jr. throws a right and a left that Lutsky avoids nicely. Lutsky swings and misses with a hook to the body.
State Jr. fails with a takedown attempt. A cross from Lutsky lands. State Jr. takes one to the side of the head.
Lutsky has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. State Jr. fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lutsky lands a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lutsky drops State Jr. with a beautiful combination! State Jr. stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lutsky is looking for the KO! Oh State Jr. is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lutsky connects with a leg kick. State Jr. looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. State Jr. seems to have got his legs back now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lutsky drops State Jr. with a beautiful combination! State Jr. stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lutsky is looking for the KO! Lutsky has closed the distance and engaged State Jr. in a clinch.

Lutsky lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. State Jr. is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Lutsky is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gunner State Jr.. That's going to take a lot out of him. A short right hand to the side of the head by Lutsky. Lutsky lands a left hand that snaps the head of State Jr. backwards. Lutsky unloads a knee to the mid-section. State Jr. lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lutsky misses with a shot to the kidneys.
State Jr. wants a takedown but no success here.
Lutsky breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lutsky gets in close and instigates a clinch. State Jr. tries to score a body lock takedown but Lutsky shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Lutsky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lutsky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. State Jr. closes the distance and clinches up with Lutsky, looking for a takedown. State Jr. pushes Lutsky against the cage but Lutsky circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. State Jr. shoots in for a double leg but Lutsky sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lutsky lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
State Jr. takes one to the chin there. Lutsky lands with a right hand. Lutsky scores with a spinning back kick! Lutsky pushes State Jr. up against the cage in a clinch. A short uppercut from Lutsky. A right hook to the body lands for Lutsky.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Still in the clinch, Lutsky scores with a nice short uppercut. Lutsky drops State Jr. with a big knee straight up the middle! State Jr. is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet! I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Lutsky has cracked State Jr. with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Lutsky lands another huge swinging hook and State Jr. tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save State Jr., before Lutsky can land any more shots!
