Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Program Message!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Message shoots in but Burke avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Message thows a left - swing and a miss!
Burke throws a lazy right hand but Message sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Message shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Burke defends it nicely.
Message tries for a takedown but Burke circles away easily

and Burke counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Trey Burke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Program Message.
Message looking to hit a scissor sweep but Burke is one step ahead there.

Message tries to clinch up but Burke circles away and keeps his distance.

Burke feints and as Message raises his hands in defense, Burke changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Message is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Message keeping moving, preventing Burke from controlling successfully.
Burke stopping the sweep attempt from Message.
Burke is looking to work some ground and pound but Message has wrist control.

Message is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Message has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Burke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Trey Burke overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Burke throws a big elbow that misses.
Message keeping full guard, as Burke tries to pass.

Burke advances position into side control!

Burke is looking to take a break and control but Message is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Message tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Burke wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Message takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Burke decides to stand back up.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Burke clinches with his opponent.
Message tries to break free but Burke pushes him back against the cage.
Message goes for a takedown attempt but Burke pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Burke closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Message is breathing heavily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Burke wants to control but Message is keeping him busy.
Burke in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Burke trying to control the position but Message is working away.
Burke fails to land a wild elbow strike.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Burke controls the position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
You can see the frustration on Message's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Message is not content to let Burke control the position.

Burke looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Burke works to advance to full mount. Message defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Message is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Burke's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Burke feints and as Message raises his hands in defense, Burke changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Burke stands up from Message's guard - Burke perhaps looking for a knockout.

Burke closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Burke lands in his opponent's guard.

Message trying his best to control but Burke has mounted him.
Burke looking to control but Message is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Burke lands a big shot there that rocks Message but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Message tries to buck Burke off but he can't manage it.
Message reaches up to try and control the position but Burke seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Message rolls and tries to escape and now Burke has his back!
Burke controls the action.

Burke has got one arm under Message's chin. This could be trouble... Message trying to control the other hand but Burke gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Message has tapped out! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Trey Burke!
Trey Burke looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'SALIL EKA SALIL VIKA'.
