Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Cesaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cedric Maake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maake missing with a left hand there. Cesaro was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Maake looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Maake counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Maake has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Cesaro displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Maake throws out the jab.

The crowd cheers as Maake lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cesaro doesn't seem phased though.

Cesaro lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cesaro slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Maake scores with a counter punch that sends Cesaro to the canvas! Maake smells blood - he's punishing Cesaro with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Cesaro has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
