Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Stewart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pete Gordon! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stewart moves forwards but Gordon connects with a nice, crisp jab. Gordon thows a leg kick but Stewart checks it and Stewart counters with an outside leg kick.

Stewart looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. No luck for Stewart with that takedown attempt. Gordon is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gordon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stewart.
Gordon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gordon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gordon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stewart on his heels. He'll look to pass Stewart's guard now, I'm sure. Stewart tries to strike from the bottom.
Stewart is trying to control the position but Gordon postures up. Gordon controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Gordon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Gordon has eaten all the pies! Stewart is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Stewart is adopting a defensive guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Nick Stewart just wasn't active enough. Stewart doesn't manage to clinch there - Gordon circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stewart uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gordon. Stewart gets a clinch. Stewart tries for a takedown. No joy.
Stewart has Gordon pushed against the cage. Gordon takes a knee right on the jaw!
Stewart breaks from the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gordon with a nice cross.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gordon keeps the fight on the outside. Gordon drops Stewart with a beautiful combination! Stewart stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gordon is looking for the KO! This has been an exciting period of action! Gordon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Stewart is looking to clinch but Gordon is avoiding it.
Gordon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stewart sees it coming and avoids it easily. Gordon's coach down at Nordic Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gordon's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Gordon moves into the clinch successfully.
Gordon turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gordon manages to end up in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stewart regains half guard. Gordon is looking to pass Stewart's guard but actually Stewart recovers to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gordon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stewart is on top in guard.
Stewart drops back looking for a leg! Gordon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gordon manages to kick Stewart off! Stewart jumps back into Gordon's guard. Gordon is looking to stand up but Stewart isn't so interested in that idea. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stewart stands and steps away. Gordon gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pete Gordon dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stewart keeps the fight on the outside. Gordon fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Stewart keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gordon. Gordon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Stewart is looking to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stewart has managed to clinch.
Stewart is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Stewart escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stewart checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Stewart moves in looking to clinch but Gordon pushes him off. A nice leg kick lands there from Stewart. Stewart shoots for a double leg takedown but Gordon sprawls well. He's pushed Stewart's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Gordon throws a right and a left that both miss. Gordon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gordon tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Stewart is able to avoid easily. Stewart wants to clinch up but Gordon keeps it at a distance. Stewart closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Gordon wants to get back to full guard. Stewart is trying for a kimura here. Gordon looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Stewart wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nick Stewart!
