We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Hearns throws a combination that misses
and Stanton decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hearns's guard.
Stanton wants to stand and escape but instead Hearns has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Hearns decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Stanton dodges the punch combination from Hearns.
Stanton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hearns is fending him off so far but Stanton persists. Nope, Hearns circles away and we're back to standing.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Stanton wants to clinch
and Hearns counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Stanton badly! Hearns follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Stanton out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Hearns finished him against the cage.
