Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Phantom Menace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Eduardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eduardo has chosen Numb as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eduardo walks into a stiff left hand from Menace.
Eduardo works over Menace's head and body with a nice combination.
Menace with a nice cross.
It looks like Carlos Eduardo has been cut.
Eduardo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Menace misses with a looping left.
Menace has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

That was a close round but I would say that Phantom Menace will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Eduardo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Menace takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Menace throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Eduardo's waist but Eduardo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Menace off to one side.

Carlos Eduardo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Eduardo counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Menace is lucky that one didn't land flush.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Menace crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Eduardo - the referee stops the clock and Menace gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Eduardo. Menace manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
