Ollie Strauss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Strauss walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gold keeps the fight on the outside.
Gold uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Strauss.
Strauss throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gold shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Strauss eats them both and turns towards Gold to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Gold enables Strauss to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gold manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Gold has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
