Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Hallmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shamsudin Khulagov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hallmann throws a combination that misses
and Khulagov counters with a stiff right hand.
Hallmann rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Khulagov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Khulagov has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Hallmann lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Khulagov backs up against the cage.
It looks like Shamsudin Khulagov has been cut.
Hallmann tries to bum rush Khulagov with a series of wild strikes but Khulagov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

I was talking to Hallmann's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

A relieved looking Shamsudin Khulagov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
