Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt McConor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kurt McConor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricio Rua! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab lands there for Rua. McConor on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rua. Rua obviously looking to wear him down.
Rua is looking to clinch. McConor waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rua. McConor shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rua is trying to defend but McConor finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. McConor gets to his feet - back to striking we go! McConor takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Kurt McConor has been cut. Kurt McConor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rua throws a leg kick which misses McConor's front leg but catches the back leg as McConor tries to avoid it. A swing and a miss from McConor. McConor circles away from the clinch attempt.
A shot to the liver by Rua. Beautiful body shot. McConor throws a head kick that misses. Rua wants to clinch up but McConor keeps it at a distance. McConor shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A solid leg kick lands there for Rua.
McConor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rua is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rua misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rua closes the distance and clinches. Rua manages to break the clinch.
McConor shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rua manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Rua is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McConor is controlling him. McConor wants to get up but he can't break Rua's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Rua is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. McConor stands up and waves to Rua to follow him. McConor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rua as he jumps to the side. McConor keeps the fight on the outside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rua tries to clinch there but McConor circles away.
McConor throws a right hand that Rua ducks under and follows up with a left that Rua also avoids with ease. McConor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rua but Rua pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kurt McConor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rua closes the distance and clinches. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rua's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rua throws a one two combo.
McConor has been working on his balance at WarZone Training Facility 2, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Rua. McConor shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rua as he avoids it easily. McConor avoids the head kick by Rua.
McConor wants to slow Rua down by chopping away at his legs. McConor manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rua on his heels. He'll look to pass Rua's guard now, I'm sure. McConor wants to stand but Rua is controlling his posture from full guard. McConor trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua wants to stand up but McConor is controlling him. Rua is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. McConor decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rua, up you get! McConor missing with a left hand there. Rua was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Rua tests McConor's chin there with a solid looking shot. A head kick misses from McConor.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rua throws a quick inside leg kick. McConor throws a body kick that misses. Rua looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McConor misses with a head kick.
McConor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rua tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McConor misses with the combination.
Rua throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Rua cracks McConor with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. McConor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rua defends well and McConor ends up having to push Rua into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Rua's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McConor throws a looping overhand right but Rua ducks down to avoid it. McConor looking for a takedown here - he's got it. McConor is breathing heavily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rua has his feet on McConor's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. McConor tries to keep at a distance but Rua has taken the fight into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricio Rua dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kurt McConor's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
McConor keeps the fight on the outside. McConor fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Rua looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Rua backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks McConor's temple! It sends McConor violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Rua celebrates and the doctors try to help McConor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Ricio Rua! Kurt McConor spoke after the fight, saying 'Thank's to my fans.I'll be back!'.
