Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rico Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnold Mashine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rico Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Arnold Mashine! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mashine shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stone is trying to defend but Mashine finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Mashine has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Stone works to full guard. Stone is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mashine leaves Stone with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mashine keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Mashine darts in and clinches Stone up against the cage. Mashine has picked Stone up - he's going for a ride! Mashine dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Stone looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Mashine with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Mashine looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mashine is taking a breather. Stone says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stone is looking for a sweep. Mashine is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Well, if Mashine is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Arnold Mashine was stalling too much, according to the referee. Mashine scores with a takedown into Stone's guard. Mashine is stalling in the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mashine stands up from Stone's guard - Mashine perhaps looking for a knockout. Mashine darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Mashine not doing much here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mashine working over Stone with some ground and pound. Stone looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Mashine content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Stone trying to get back to full guard but Mashine takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stone is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arnold Mashine dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Mashine feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mashine controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Mashine slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone is letting Mashine control him for a moment. Mashine lands a nice forearm strike. Stone tries to control but Mashine manages to take his back. Stone is trying to remain composed but Mashine is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Mashine controls the position. Stone can't escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mashine controls the action. Stone is covering up but some of the strikes from Mashine are getting through and doing damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mashine controlling the position well here. Stone rolled but Mashine kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Stone covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Stone is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Stone has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Arnold Mashine has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stone is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Mashine gets his way!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mashine is working the ground and pound. Can Stone escape? I would not like to be Stone right now.
You can see the frustration on Stone's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Stone has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Stone is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Mashine.
Let's hope that Mashine has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mashine lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Stone hold on?!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mashine has his arm under Stone's chin here. Game over son! Mashine squeezes tightly and Stone is forced to tap out!
