Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ber Puddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nathan Cortez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ber Puddle! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Puddle or perhaps it was just good defense by Cortez which made him look bad. The fighters circle momentarily. Cortez darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Puddle has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Cortez catches Puddle with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Cortez lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Cortez. Cortez connects with a looping right hand.
Puddle moves forwards but Cortez connects with a nice, crisp jab. Cortez shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Puddle eats them both and turns towards Cortez to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Puddle takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Puddle shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Cortez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Puddle on the side of the head. Puddle shoots in but Cortez avoids the takedown attempt easily. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Puddle has eaten all the pies! Puddle throws a sloppy head kick and Cortez counters with a nice uppercut. Puddle is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Cortez.
It looks like Ber Puddle has been cut. Cortez throws a good cross that connects.

Puddle tries to clinch but Cortez is having none of it. Puddle has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Cortez lands with a nice combination. Puddle backs away looking to recover. Cortez scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Puddle takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Cortez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Cortez moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Cortez is working the combinations to good effect here. Cortez scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Nathan Cortez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Puddle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cortez circles away. Nathan Cortez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ber Puddle. Puddle looks winded! Cortez lands a two punch combo.
Puddle is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Cortez. Cortez looks to land a combination. Puddle sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Cortez is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Cortez's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Cortez duly obliges.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cortez lands a jab. Puddle has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
That has opened up Ber Puddle's cut even more. Cortez lands with a nice combination. Puddle backs away looking to recover. Cortez throws a left that rocks Puddle and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cortez dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Puddle regain composure!
Puddle is still in real trouble! Can Cortez finish him? Cortez is working to tighten his grip on Puddle's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Puddle has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cortez is really squeezing tight and eventually Puddle passes out! Cortez breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
