Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Krugerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krisu Leepen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leepen has chosen The Prodigy - as his entrance music. Freddy Krugerman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Freddy Krugerman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Krisu Leepen!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Krugerman.
The fighters circle momentarily. Krugerman darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Leepen throws a right and a left that both miss.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Leepen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Leepen gets tackled into the cage by Krugerman. Krugerman maintains the clinch.

Krugerman breaks from the clinch.
Krugerman leaves Leepen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Leepen misses with a lunging right hand
and Krugerman counters with a series of strikes. Leepen will be more careful next time no doubt.

Krugerman shoots in and bounces Leepen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Krugerman throws an elbow that misses. Leepen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Krugerman's guard. Nice move by Leepen!
Krugerman is looking to stand up but Leepen isn't so interested in that idea.

Krugerman is trying to control the position but Leepen postures up.
Leepen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leepen throws a strike but Krugerman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Leepen wants to stand up but Krugerman is controlling him.
Krugerman stays in close to Leepen's body and controls the position.

Freddy Krugerman has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Krugerman connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Krugerman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Leepen was covering up waiting for the punch and Krugerman finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Krugerman wants to control from the top but Leepen keeps moving.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Krugerman scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Krugerman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Freddy Krugerman.
Krugerman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Leepen.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nice takedown defense from Leepen. No joy for Krugerman on that attempt.
Leepen needs to keep his hands up - Krugerman had a free shot at his head there.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Krugerman feints and then cracks Leepen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Leepen down.
Krugerman lands a head shot.
Leepen misses with a hook

and Krugerman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Krugerman lands with a short shot to the head.
Still in the clinch, Krugerman scores with a nice short uppercut.
Krugerman lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Leepen is rocked!
Krugerman lands with a left to the head.
Leepen is still on wobbly legs! Can Krugerman finish him?
Leepen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Krugerman lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Leepen is trying to break the clinch but Krugerman is controlling him.
Krugerman lands a nice uppercut.
Krugerman scores with a shot to the side of Leepen's head.
Krugerman pushes Leepen against the cage. Krugerman is working some dirty boxing. Krugerman pushes off with a quick right hook! Leepen goes down! Leepen tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Krugerman moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
