Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Oliveer Jack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ben Liften Jr! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liften Jr is looking to clinch but Jack is avoiding it.
Liften Jr wants to clinch and Jack counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Liften Jr throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jack blocks it with crossed arms. Liften Jr stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Liften Jr unloads a knee to the mid-section. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Liften Jr misses with a knee to the head. Liften Jr holding his opponent close, against the cage.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Ben Liften Jr. Liften Jr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jack swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ben Liften Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jack moves into the clinch successfully.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Liften Jr stalls. Jack blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Liften Jr dominated that round. The cut man is working on Oliveer Jack's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Liften Jr wants to clinch but Jack slips to the side so Jack counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jack is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jack seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Liften Jr for as long as he can get away with.
We're going to have a standup here because Oliveer Jack wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Liften Jr is looking to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on Jack's face as he tries to break the clinch. Liften Jr lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Jack takes an elbow to the temple. Jack tries for a takedown but Liften Jr manages to get underhooks.
Liften Jr creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jack's defenses. Jack takes an elbow to the temple. Liften Jr lands a damaging elbow. Liften Jr lands an elbow that stopped Jack in his tracks for a moment. Liften Jr comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Liften Jr lands an elbow inside that Jack shrugs off.

Liften Jr's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. The crowd are getting on Liften Jr's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Liften Jr with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Jack is rocked! Jack takes an elbow to the forehead. Oh Jack is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Liften Jr takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Liften Jr lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Jack is pressed against the cage. Liften Jr pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Jack! Two more big strikes from Liften Jr and Jack crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Ben Liften Jr! Ben Liften Jr bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
