PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Kinder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kinder comes to the cage accompanied by Let's Get Ready To Rhumble. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hart shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kinder's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kinder manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hart is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kinder controlling the pace for now.
Kinder landing shots from mount.
Kinder looking to control and managing it successfully.
Hart keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kinder takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kinder goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hart turns into him and now he's in Kinder's guard.

Kinder working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hart doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hart manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hart working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hart stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kinder swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hart wants to control from the top but Kinder keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kinder has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hart should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kinder has tightened it up now! Hart should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
