Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rickey Obrien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Key Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rickey Obrien! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Key Stone! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Obrien avoids the head kick by Stone.
Stone has his takedown stuffed and Obrien counters with a big head kick but Stone shrugs it off. Stone shoots in for a double leg but Obrien sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Obrien walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Stone gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Obrien counters with a slapping leg kick. Rickey Obrien has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Key Stone. Stone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stone misses with a combination

Obrien lands with a thumping leg kick.
Stone misses with a few strikes there.
Stone throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Stone looks winded! Obrien displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stone throws out the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Obrien's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Obrien bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stone's guard. Obrien's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We're going to have a standup here because Rickey Obrien wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Obrien throws a head kick that Stone semi-blocks.
Obrien could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Obrien gets tackled into the cage by Stone. Stone maintains the clinch. Obrien swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Obrien throws a head kick but Stone moves out of range.
Stone falls off balance throwing a combination
and Obrien counters with a head kick. That will keep Stone thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stone takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Stone misses with a double jab.
Stone throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Stone wants to clinch and Obrien counters with a lovely shot to the body. Key Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Obrien fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Obrien misses with a head kick.
Stone doesn't succeed with the takedown and Obrien counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Obrien slows the pace down in half guard. Obrien wants to work for an arm triangle but Stone is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Obrien content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Obrien wants to take a breather but Stone is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Rickey Obrien wasn't doing enough on the ground. Stone is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Obrien's half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stone thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rickey Obrien will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Stone tries for a takedown but Obrien circles away easily and Obrien counters with a solid body kick. Stone throws a head kick that misses and Obrien counters with a thumping low kick. Obrien connects with a leg kick. Stone looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Stone tries to clinch but Obrien moves out of range. Stone misses with a double jab
and Obrien counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Obrien controlling the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Stone with a lazy takedown attempt and Obrien counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Stone thinking. Stone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Obrien counters with a flying knee. Nice. This has been an exciting period of action! Obrien shoots in and bounces Stone off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Obrien sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rickey Obrien has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Stone throws a left and a right that both miss
and Obrien counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stone won't be happy with that. Obrien taking a breather here. You can see the frustration on Stone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Obrien trying to control the action but Stone is working from the bottom. Stone striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rickey Obrien dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Key Stone seems to be getting the better of the standup. Stone moves to clinch but Obrien breaks away and Obrien counters with a head kick. That's one minute gone in the round. Obrien shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Obrien showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Stone tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Obrien counters with a nice body kick. Obrien tries to clinch up but Stone circles away and keeps his distance. Stone throws a right and a left that both miss. Obrien tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Obrien circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone fails to land the takedown. Obrien throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stone was covering up waiting for the punch and Obrien finishes the takedown easily into guard. Obrien controlling from the top position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Stone misses with the combination.
Key Stone has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

And that's the end of the fight! Rickey Obrien showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Obrien, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
